この度、ハリー・ウィンストンと深堀隆介の初のコラボレーションが実現しました。
約6年にも及ぶ話し合いとデザインを洗練させて、独自画法2.5Dペインティングで描かれた世界に1つだけの美しい金魚たちが泳ぐ腕時計が誕生しました。

ハリー・ウィンストンとコラボした時計の金魚は、私が一点一点描きました。流し込んだ透明樹脂の中に直接描き、5層ほどの積層絵画になっています。しかし、深さ3mmほどしかないカップの中に5層もの積層で描画を繰り返すことは困難を極め、何度も試しながら6年後ようやく完成しました。どの金魚も私が愛情を込めた最高の金魚たちです。

ハリー・ウィンストンとのコラボで、私はあえてヨーロッパ風にせず、日本の美意識で金魚を描きました。その和風な金魚たちをハリー・ウィンストンはどのように仕上げてくるか楽しみでした。出来上がった腕時計のデザインは、私の予想を遥かに超える美しいもので、金魚たちが喜び泳いでいるようでした。　　深堀隆介

Today, we are delighted to announce the realization of the collaborative project between Harry Winston and Riusuke Fukahori. After nearly six years of continuous discussions and refining designs, a one-of-a-kind timepiece featuring beautiful goldfish was created using Fukahori’s original technique, 2.5 Dimensional Painting.

I painted each individual goldfish featured in the watch collaboration with Harry Winston. After carefully painting directly onto the first transparent layer of resin poured into the dial cup, I repeated the process multiple times, resulting in a five-layer resin painting. However, creating these five layers within a cup only 3mm deep proved to be extremely challenging. After many tries, the piece was finally completed six years later. Each goldfish is a masterpiece, crafted with my utmost love and care.

For the collaboration with Harry Winston, I intentionally painted all the goldfish with a Japanese aesthetic instead of using a European style. I was excited to see how Harry Winston would incorporate these traditional Japanese goldfish into their design. The final product far exceeded my expectations in its beauty, as if the goldfish were joyfully swimming in their new home.
